The Class A single lift unitized navigational aids system is a self- contained solar-powered light and fog signal unit, ideal for marking remote marine obstructions, such as wellheads, reefs or offshore rocks where mains power is unavailable.

The Class A single lift unitized system meets or exceeds requirements for use in areas that require a 5NM white light and a 2NM fog signal.

Unitized Class A Dimensions

    • LANTERN – The ML-300 MaxLumina® features the most efficient injection moulded 300 mm lens available. This marine drum lens is nearly perfect and produces required effective intensities from small wattage lamps.
    • FLASHER/LAMPCHANGERS – The Class A Single Lift ML-300 lantern utilizes either Tideland’s TF-3B MicroPower OMNIBUS® II, a completely automatic solid-state flasher and six-place lampchanger, or MaxhiHALO flasher, an LED replacement light source.
    • FOG SIGNAL – Tideland’s U.S. Coast Guard approved AB-560 Audiobeam® 2 NM fog signal, with ECU-645-A electronics, broadcasts a 360° beam of sound in the horizon plane with a preselected code. This audible aid complies with the recommendations of IALA and is UL Listed for Class I, Division 2, Group D hazardous locations.
    • All approved IALA colors available.
    • POWER – Three 40-watt solar panels and seven V12MF batteries (enclosed in a watertight fiberglass FG-12 battery box). The electric energy output from the solar generator battery is separate for the fog signal and the marine lantern. The energy system is sized for standalone service for continuous year-round operation.
