Ex Solachan

The Tideland Signal EX Solachan is a self contained, solar powered Light Station suitable for use in most geographical locations and proving a light with up to 10 NM range. Available with White, Red or Green Lights, they can be used for a variety of applications where full Zone 1 ATEX or IECEX Certification is required.  They have a proven record over many years in applications worldwide.




A sturdy Galvanised Steel pedestal with a simple rectangular base and oversized  lifting eye supports a Tideland SS-01X Stainless Steel Zone 1 Certified Battery Box containing a 12v 165Ah Gel Battery for best Navaids Performance.  An Orga OSP200-108EX Solar Module is mounted at a fixed angle on a sturdy galvanised Steel frame and an Epoxy Painted LM6 Alloy Solar Regulator and Circuit breaker enclosure is also mounted to the pedestal front for easy access.

A Tideland MLED-150EX lantern completes the assembly and can be provided in White, Red or Green, allowing for a wide variety of applications including 10NM U Lights, 3NM U Lights, Port and Starboard markers and fixed Red Jetty Lights.

All lights are fitted as standard with GPS Synchronisation meaning stations will automatically synchronise when turned on.  Hard Wire Synchronisation can also be connected where this is preferred.

With self cleaning lantern lenses and tilted solar modules, combined with a very high autonomy period, the units require minimal maintenance whilst providing very high reliability, essential in critical navaids applications.

All units incorporate an inbuilt Photocell for Day/Night Operation and a volt free Lantern Fault Alarm output.
