Flash Technology and Tideland Signal Corporation have developed several options of AtoN
and aviation warning systems specifically designed for offshore wind farms which comply with the following relevant specifications: FAA 70/7460 1K, ICAO Annex 14 2004, and IALA Recommendation 0139, edition 1, December 2008.
This equipment is simple to install and as a minimum will normally consist of a kit made up with GPS synchronised MLED-155 MaxiHALO-60 Marine Lantern (pairs, set for the recommended Fl Y 2.5s, 5nm range), MLED-120E Marine Lantern (pairs, set for the recommended Fl Y 5s, 2nm range), AB-560 Fog Signal that is initiated by the Tideland Visibility Detector. In addition AIS units are also available.

individual wind turbine or a wind farm comprising numerous turbines.
