In a continued commitment to excellence, Tideland Signal Corporation developed the Sentinel® polyethylene buoys in the 1990’s. Seeing the need to introduce high performance, low maintenance floating aids, the SB-138P Buoy was born. In seeing the success of such aid, Tideland introduced the polyethylene buoy, SB-285P, later that same decade. Tideland Signal has continued to develop this polyethylene buoy range with the new SB-98P and SB-2200P. Our Sentinel® polyethylene buoys are made of UV stabilized polyethylene which is rotationally molded with the pigment added in the process, eliminating the need for painting and making the buoys’ body seamless.
