Tideland was the first company to install Automatic Identification Systems (AIS) on buoys. The success with AIS led to Tideland opening a new division; Tideland Maritime Systems (TMS) in 2002. TMS, specializing in VTS and AIS related business, is building a client base with shore based monitoring stations with port and national clients. Teaming arrangements with a full range of partners allow us to provide our clients with a full range of port security solutions, from AIS only port displays to a full function VTIMS operations centers.
The Company has headquarters in Houston and offices in USA, Canada, Singapore, UAE and the United Kingdom with divisions dedicated to AtoN service in the Middle East, Offshore Oil and Gas exploration in the Gulf of Mexico and buoy production in Canada, Asia, South America, England and the Middle East.
