Informer™ is an AIS AtoN information provider and remote monitoring system for use on all AtoN’s and other structures. Informer is a compact unit housed in a rugged waterproof enclosure and designed for use on any AtoN.
With a power consumption of less than 0.5Ah/day, Informer is suitable on all solar installations, including buoys anywhere in the world. The input voltage of 9V to 36V DC is compatible with most known AtoN power systems.
Tideland Signal has adopted the International Association of Lighthouse Authorities (IALA) recommendations describing the functions and message structure contained within the AIS AtoN message.
Informer is available in two options;
- Type 1 - Transmit only
- Type 3 - Transmit & Receive
